SERVICES
Diagnostic Evaluations are initial sessions done with our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to review an individual's presenting concerns to determine treatment needs as well as clinical appropriateness for our setting.
Medication follow up sessions are for symptom and treatment review to help optimize your function. Our providers aim to promote wellness for a healthy mind and body to live life to its fullest.
Brief Therapy are the therapeutic interventions that move beyond the initiation, maintenance, and termination of psychotropic medications. Your psychiatric nurse practitioner may use evidence based psychotherapy skills (such as CBT) to keep motivated towards your mental health goals.
Life Coaching / Career Coaching is a non-insurance service provided by our Certified Life Coach. Call the office for more details.

INSURANCE QUESTIONS
Do you accept my insurance?
We currently accept BC/BS CAREFIRST, UNITED HEALTH, CIGNA, MAGELLAN, AETNA, and MEDICARE. We can assist your insurance claim if you have other PPO insurance plans.
CAN I PAY out of pocket for services?
Yes. Call us to find out what we have available for you.
We accept Cash (only in person) and all major credit cards and HSA cards are accepted for payment.

Does my insurance cover for my mental health?
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
WHAT Should I bring to my first appointment?
Prior to your first appointment after your insurance coverage has been authorized, please provide:
1. a copy of your health insurance card(s) (front and back).
2. a copy of a legal government issued picture ID (License or ID card).
3. a list of all your medications, supplements, and vitamins that you take.
4. a copy of prior assessments done by physician, psychiatric providers, schools, and etc.

How long is my first appointment?
Your first appointment which is the diagnostic evaluation, is a 60 minute session. After this, your follow up appointments will be 15-20 minutes.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.

Do you use videoconferencing?
Yes. We provide videoconferencing which we call Telepsych as an option both through your insurance and out of pocket to make things more convenient for you.
Is telepsychiatry HIPPAA compliant and confidential?
Yes. We are required by the policies of governing bodies and best practice to use a video platform that complies with HIPPAA policy. Your provider will also maintain confidentiality by the usage of a private office space as well as using a headset to isolate your conversation.
How do I start using Telepsychiatry?
